This week I chose "Not Giving In" by Rudimental ft. John Newman and Alex Clare. Not only do I love all three of those artists, BUT I really think that this is just a really great comeback song. And it just seems that so much of the geek/nerd community is built up of underdogs and people looking to come back even stronger. It can be applied to most superhero/vigilante/villainous characters. Hey, it even works for when you just need the reminder or extra push in life. So, here is this song. Just to say, you got this, don't give in.

Alright, I chose "Kill of the night" by Gin Wigmore. This song will forever make me think of Catwoman, really any version you want. It's Just a bad ass Femme Fatale anthem.

Marlena, here! For my Music Pick of The Week, I chose "B**** Don't Kill My Vibe" by Kendrick Lamar. I don't like listening to music with cursing and profanity in it and I apologize to anyone who may be offended, but I couldn't find the clean version. Anyways, I posted this song because it reminds me of Loki. Now, before you call me crazy there is something really poetic about this song and the chorus just speaks "Loki" to me. (I am a sinner who's probably going to sin again. Lord Forgive me, things I don't understand. Sometimes I need to be alone). I don't know it just makes me feel like no matter how good Loki may try to do, it's not considered to be good enough, or his mischievous nature is always going to cause him to mess up or betray the ones he cares about. Someone actually wrote a short story of Loki inspired by this song for me about two years ago. It was very good. I'll have to share it sometime. :)

G'day! It's Aubreana and I chose "Cardiac Arrest in D" by Hillstomp. It's a heart bumping banjo strumming southern style hit. It really makes me think of Gambit just running around being bad ass in New Orleans. Really, slap on some headphones listen to this song and just imagine it. It's spot on.

Hey, it's Marlena! Okay, so I am fan of Florence & The Machine and I am currently obsessed with her new album especially the song "Which Witch", so I'm choosing it as my First Music Pick of the Week. This song really kind of makes me think of like a war, drumming song. I don't know but when I listen to it, it makes me think of an action/fight scene from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra.  It also makes me think of the MCU movies, too. It makes me think of battle scenes for some reason. But I don't know, I can't really describe it, it's a great song! I love it!

Hey Guys! It's Bree! First music pick of the week is "Big Wild" by Aftergold. It's a song that I have been listening to on repeat! Something about the album cover reminds me of The CW's Arrow. It's called "Big Wild" so maybe it just reminds me Olivers time stranded on Lian Yu or his time in Hong Kong. Enjoy!
